I had a pleasant morning plein air painting at Minnamurra yesterday . A friend and I decided not to waste the beautiful weather and headed down to Minnamurra to have a look for good painting spots..We found this great place and soon got our easels all set up ..We each did a different view ..I did this one looking up river in acrylic while my friend painted the stunning view of the island just off the the river outlet to sea in watercolour..while we had a break we sat on a seat overlooking this spectacular view just soaking it all in and feeling lucky to be there ...the trip home via farmlands and over a bubbling brook was great for a photo oportunity too ..
