..It is a very nice spot just south of Sydney and quite enjoyable to paint ..even though it was an overcast day the light was perfect. I painted this quick study in watercolour ..fast becoming my preferred plein air medium. I might do another in oil from this in my studio ..then again I might just leave it as is and remember it as a pleasant morning spent with friends ..
Sydney offers a lot of spots for the artist and I wish I can go there some day. There is going to be plein air painters from over the world getting together in 2011.....I will be saving!A lovely oil sketch, Kathy!
